Your choice
What cookies are
Cookies are small files that websites save in your browser. Similar technologies, such as your browser's local storage, work in much the same way. UK law says sites must ask before using any that aren't strictly necessary.
What this site uses
We don't use analytics, advertising or social media tracking. Here's everything that gets stored:
Strictly necessary
These don't need your consent because the site needs them to do what you ask.
| Name | Set by | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
dbffc-cookie-consent |
This website (browser local storage, not a cookie) | Remembers whether you accepted or rejected Google Maps cookies, so we don't keep asking | Until you change your choice or clear your browser's site data |
Optional: only if you accept
| Service | Where | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google Maps | The venue maps on the DadBods and FFC pages | Shows an interactive map. Google sets its own cookies, for example to remember preferences and for security, and may use them as described in its policy. | Set by Google. Some last up to two years. |
Google controls these cookies, not us. See how Google uses cookies.
Things that don't set cookies
- Fonts and photos are served from our own website, not a third party.
- Hosting. Netlify, which hosts the site, doesn't set cookies on it.
- Links to WhatsApp, Instagram and Google Maps take you to those services, where their own cookie policies apply.
Changing your mind
Use the buttons at the top of this page at any time. If you accepted and then reject, the maps stop loading straight away. Cookies Google has already set stay in your browser until they expire, but you can delete them in your browser's settings.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser at any time. The site works fine without them.
