Since 2018
Get fitter with a good group of lads
Some of the lads who turn up were already fit when they joined, and plenty of others started from scratch.
Wherever you're starting from, the idea is simple: get moving, get fitter and enjoy doing it with a good group of lads.
- One hour, one night a week. Monday 8–9pm. What you do between sessions is up to you — but the group chat is there if you want the extra accountability.
- £10 a session. That covers everything — no membership, no joining fee.
- Everyone works at their own level. You don't need to keep up with anyone else. You just need to turn up and give it a go.

The session
An hour of strength and conditioning
Designed for all abilities. Shaun coaches the session, gives you options where needed, and pushes you to get the most out of yourself without expecting you to train like anyone else.
Expect hard work and a lot of laughing — and expect the chat before and after to last nearly as long as the training.
Start where you are
Same session, different starting points. Exercises can be adapted so you can work at a level that's right for you.
Shaun's there every Monday
Shaun runs every session, shows you what to do, keeps things moving and gives you that extra push when you've got another rep in you.
Hard work, lots of laughing
It's a proper session, but nobody takes themselves too seriously while they're doing it.
The chat
Turn up a bit early and stay a bit late. For a lot of the group, that's half the reason they come.
The rest of the week
The session is one hour. The group chat runs all week.
The group chat keeps things going between Mondays.
The lads chase each other for their step counts, compare what they're eating, share what they're up to and generally hold each other to what they said they'd do.
A fair few have paired up and now go to the gym together between Mondays.
Monday is the habit that holds the rest in place. You turn up, you train, and you go into the week with a group of blokes who are trying to do the same as you.
Who it's for
Men of all shapes, sizes and fitness levels
If you've started something before, fallen off the wagon and found it hard to get back into it, you're exactly the sort of person DadBods was built for.
Fitness is the outcome — you don't need to arrive fit. Turning up on Monday is enough.
Nobody judges and nobody has an ego about it.
You'll get fitter and you'll make some mates along the way.
Your first Monday
What to bring
Genuinely not much. Turn up five minutes early, say who you are, and Shaun will meet you, show you around and get you settled in before the session starts.
- Trainers and something comfy. Kit you don't mind sweating in. That's the dress code.
- A water bottle. You'll want it by the halfway point.
- £10 for the session.
- Got an injury or something we need to know about? Let Shaun know before the session and he'll help you work out the best way to train.

See you Monday at eight
Not sure if it's for you? Message Shaun. Tell him you're thinking about coming along and he'll tell you everything you need to know.
You don't need to know anyone. You don't need to be fit. You just need to turn up. See you Monday at 8. 👊
